Maui United Way with sponsorship from Pacific Media Group has launched their 4th Annual Tools for School Drive to benefit children in need on Maui.

All donations are distributed through Maui United Way’s 36 non-profit partner agencies.

Donations will be accepted at the following locations until July 11, 2016:

Pacific Media Group
All Safeway locations
Ben Franklin
Ace Hardware- Kīhei, Lahaina and Pukalani
County of Maui- Mayor’s Office
Aloha International Employment

Makana Rosete, Community Impact Coordinator for Maui United Way said, “We were overwhelmed with the generosity of our community last summer. The 2015 Tools for School Drive was our most successful drive yet nearly doubling donations and we are hopeful that this year will be no different.”

The 2015 Tools for School Drive provided school supplies for 408 keiki with a record collection of 3,500 supplies donated by our Maui community.

Organizers say donations will go to a keiki in need here on Maui.

Maui United Way supports 37 health and human service programs in Maui County, with over 300 businesses contributing to their annual campaign.

Maui United Way depends on the continued support of local businesses and community members to address Maui’s most vital needs.

Organizers say that “with each additional donation, MUW is one step closer to its goal in creating a better tomorrow.”
