The Maui Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Stefan Roithner.

Roithner arrived on Maui on Feb. 28, 2016, for an expected stay of 10 days; however, police say that to date, he has not returned home to Austria.

Police say Roithner has been reported by family members as suffering from mental illness.

Roithner has been known to frequent the beaches in Pāʻia and Kīhei.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Maui Police Sergeant Heather Gilroy at (808)270-6534 or the Austrian Honorary Consul Susanne Spiessberger at (808)393-3357.
