The Pacific Cancer Foundation is inviting golfers to sign up for “Go Blue on the Blue,” a charitable golf tournament in support of prostate cancer patients and their families on Maui.

Scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start on the Wailea Blue Course, “Go Blue on the Blue” includes a three-person scramble competition followed by lunch, awards ceremony and prizes.

The entry fee is $500 per three-person team, with proceeds benefiting the Pacific Cancer Foundation.

The Wailea Golf Club is a sponsor and host site of the charitable fundraiser. The par-71 Blue is Wailea Resort’s original layout, designed by Arthur Jack Snyder and reconfigured in 2014 to play from a brand new pro shop at 100 Wailea Ike Drive. The Blue is the former home course of such televised golf tournaments as the LPGA Women’s Kemper Open and Asahi-Kyosen golf tournament, and is popular for its views of the ocean and Haleakalā.
