Montage Kapalua Bay Launches Sunset Grill Night
To help guests and locals get into the “Aloha Friday” spirit, Montage Kapalua Bay is launching a weekly Sunset Grill Night at its Hāna Hou Bar.
Beginning Friday, August 19 from 5 p.m. to sunset, guests and locals can visit Hana Hou Bar at the Lower Pool Deck to unwind with specialty cocktails and signature barbeque items while taking in the sunset.
Montage Kapalua Bay’s Executive Chef David Viviano will showcase signature dishes, including grilled local Ahi sandwich with Asian slaw, surf & turf cobb salad with petite filet mignon and jumbo prawns, and mixed plates such as Huli Huli chicken with sticky rice.
To round out the grill experience, the resort created specialty cocktails and drinks, including the “Frangilada” served in a hollowed pineapple, “Lime In Da Coconut” presented in a coconut shell and the “Maui Root Beer Float” made with Maui Brewing Co. root beer.
“We are thrilled to announce a new offering for guests and locals to enjoy on Friday evenings,” says James Proctor, director of food & beverage. “Guests will enjoy a new dining experience while playing lawn games and watching the beautiful Hawaiian sunset.”
