The University of Hawaiʻi Maui College will feature a special presentation of the Preserving Our Recollections series this month, featuring the late Maui Mayor Elmer Cravalho, as the guest.

Cravalho served as Maui’s first mayor, Maui County Chairman, and also Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The program is hosted by former Maui Superintendent of Education Darrell Oishi. The interview was conducted in May 2014. Cravahlo passed away two years later on June 27, 2016. He requested the interview not be aired until some time after his passing.

The Preserving our Recollections series airs Saturdays and Sundays at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. It can be viewed on Oceanic Cable Channel 354 and Digital Cable 27.55.

The series can also be streamed live at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. via the UHMC website. (Click on the MCTV link at the top of the page).
