Four Seasons Maui Celebrates Global Wellness Day, June 10
The Four Seasons Resort Maui joins in Global Wellness Day, sharing in the mantra that “one day can change your whole life.” The international day dedicated to living well takes place this year on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
Four Seasons Resort Maui will offer a variety of fitness, spa, and nutrition initiatives on this special day that issues a global reminder of the importance of living well.
Senior Spa Director Pat Makozak invites guests and the local Maui community to experience a Four-Seasons-style day of wellness.
“Four Seasons Resort Maui is widely considered a leader in the wellness travel industry. At The Spa, we aim to offer the ultimate innovations in wellness treatments and programming. Global Wellness Day is the perfect opportunity for us to share some of what we do best with, not only our guests, but the local community as well.”
The day will commence with an 8 a.m. yoga class on the resort’s Ocean Front Lawn. Following, at 9:15 a.m., relieve sore muscles with a fascia release class led by RAD roller massage tool founder Mike Mallory and lead ambassador Julie Wu.
“We are delighted to welcome Mike and Julie to participate in Global Wellness Day,” said Makozak. “Almost no one has the time or the means to get a massage everyday. These ground-breaking mobility tools allow you to apply targeted, transformative pressure where you need it the most—and on your own time.”
At 10 a.m., the Resort’s Wellness Expert, Mark Emerson, will lead a talk on detox.
Emerson has been practicing chiropractic and nutritional medicine since 1991, and his experience spans clinical nutrition and natural treatment methods.
Building upon this information, at 11 a.m., Executive Chef Craig Dryhurst will present a cooking demo featuring vegetable cannelloni with quinoa, chard, sundried tomato cashew cream and corn tofu puree. Throughout the morning, the culinary team will also be incorporating other surprises.
The day’s events are complimentary.
Non-resort guests are asked to bring their own mats, and reservations are required. To make reservations, contact The Spa at (808) 874.2925.
The 383-room Four Seasons Resort Maui oceanfront property is located on 15 acres in Wailea.
