New Information on Missing Person, David Alex

Maui police have updated information on an individual first reported missing in November of 2016.

06/05/17: David Alex is still missing. He was last seen a week ago in Kīhei. PC: courtesy Maui Police Department. Updated photo of Alex (left) and his moped (right) are dated 11.22.16. The middle photo was the original image released by Maui Police (depicting Alex at 170-190 pounds), although it is believed he has lost a lot of weight since that image was taken.

Police say David Alex remains missing, but was last seen a week ago in Kīhei, Maui.

Anyone with information is asked to call Maui police at (808) 244-6400 or 9-1-1 if it’s an emergency.

Police initially sought information regarding the missing person report on Nov. 18, 2016.

At the time, police described Alex as 20 years old and said he was last seen on Nov. 7, 2016 at approximately 10 a.m. in Kahului, Maui.

Friends of the man describe him as 5’7″ with brown hair and brown eyes, and say he recently moved to Maui from Illinois.
