Grow Some Good is partnering with four Maui restaurants in September to raise funds for its school gardens.

The nonprofit organization works with local schools to create hands-on, outdoor learning experiences connecting students to food sources, and inspiring better nutrition choices.

The school program is designed to grow healthier and more sustainable communities by creating affordable access to local produce and educating students, their families, and the greater community on practices that improve nutrition, health and fitness.

Each time a diner orders any of the following salads or appetizers at the restaurants, $1 will be donated to Grow Some Good:

– Greek salad at Manoli’s Pizza Company
– Maui Wowie salad at Nick’s Fishmarket inside the Fairmont Kea Lani
– Caprese salad at Sarento’s on the Beach, located on Keawakapu Beach
– Black-n-Blue Ahi appetizer at Son’z Steakhouse inside the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa

The fundraiser will support school gardens at Kamali‘i Elementary, Kīhei Elementary, Lahaina Intermediate Kīhei Charter, Lokelani Intermediate, Maui Prep Academy, Pomaika‘i Elementary, Princess Nahi‘ena‘ena Elementary, Pu‘u Kukui Elementary, Wailuku Elementary and Waihe‘e Elementary.
