29th Annual Lahaina Thanksgiving Feast for Those in Need

The LahainaTown Action Committee with the help of local businesses and community members continues the tradition of feeding those in need in West Maui on Thanksgiving Day.

The luncheon, comprised of turkey and traditional holiday fixings, will be served on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the King Kamehameha III Elementary School cafeteria.

Donations are sought to help purchase turkeys and other supplies for approximately 400 people. Volunteers are also needed to help set-up the lunch, serve and clean up.

To make a donation, those interested, can drop off a check at the Lahaina Visitor Center in the Old Lahaina Courthouse (648 Wharf St.), or mail a check to the LahainaTown Action Committee.

Checks can be mailed to 648 Wharf St., Lahaina, HI 96761 with Thanksgiving Lunch as a memo or payments can be submitted online at www.visitlahaina.com.

Volunteers are needed to help set up and serve between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with additional helpers needed for cleanup from 2 and 3:30 p.m. Volunteers do not need to pre-register before Thanksgiving Day, but they are asked to check-in at the volunteer table when they arrive at King Kamehameha III Elementary School.
