Jazz at The Shops will feature multi-talented Maui singer and artist Gina Martinelli on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019. Martinelli will delight music aficionados with her unique vocal technique and jazz harmony improvisations from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the upper level near lululemon.

Gina has been performing on Maui over 25 years, showcasing her versatility as a singer of different music genres. Her vocal style, which ranges from powerful rock to sultry blues and smooth jazz, has kept her on the forefront of the music scene.

She has also appeared in musicals and is well known for her stand out performance as lead character in the latest run of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.

Jazz at The Shops will take place the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 7:00 p.m. on the upper level of The Shops at Wailea. Each month, new musicians will be featured.

In a continued effort to give back to the community, The Shops at Wailea supports a different Maui non-profit each month with 60% of the special event parking fees going back to the non-profit. The non-profit recipient for the month of January is Maui United Way, empowering the community through caring partnerships that enrich people’s lives. The Shops’ goal is to enrich the community through exploration and discovery in the arts and music while supporting local businesses and non-profit partners. The four-hour special event parking voucher is available for $5 and can be purchased at the non-profit’s parking table.
