National Weather Service Honolulu HI: 339 PM HST Mon Mar 4 2019

A Small Craft Advisory has been issued for Maui County’s leeward and windward waters, which is in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

  • Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots.
  • Seas 7 to 11 feet.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 25 to 33 knots and/or seas 10 feet or greater are expected to produce conditions hazardous to small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these conditions.
