Paula Fuga Returns to Shops at Wailea, March 20
The Shops at Wailea welcomes back singer/songwriter Paula Fuga to Concerts at The Shops, a free, live performance on Wednesday, March 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Fuga has earned widespread critical praise and a dedicated fan base for her vocals, powerful lyrics and melodies. “Widely recognized for her ability to stir the deepest emotions with soulful vocals,” organizers say Paula Fuga has “established herself as one of Hawaiʻi’s most respected live performers.”
A self-proclaimed “musician on a mission,” Paula Fuga is committed to using her talent as an instrument to help bring about positive social change within the islands and beyond.
Concerts at The Shops is a free, monthly concert series that is open to the public and features headlining musicians from across the Hawaiian Islands. This community event occurs on the third and fifth Wednesday of every month at the main Fountain Courtyard.
In a continued effort to give back to the community, The Shops at Wailea supports a different Maui non-profit each month with 60% of the special event parking fees going to the selected charity. The non-profit recipient for the month of March is the Maui Humane Society, the only open-admission animal shelter on the island of Maui.
The Shops’ special events are designed to enrich the community through exploration and discovery in arts and music, while supporting local businesses and non-profit partners. The four-hour special event parking voucher is available for $5 and can be purchased at the non-profit’s parking table.
