The Wailuku Heights Park will be closed from Jan. 27 to May 14 as crews build a new playground, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced.
Department officials say that in addition to the playground, exercise equipment and an ADA accessible pathway will also be installed.
The Department asks the public to remain outside of construction area barriers for safety precautions and apologizes for any inconvenience.
Any questions or concerns may be addressed to Cheryl Akiona, Parks CIP Coordinator, at [email protected] or (808) 270-7388.
