A few Maui restaurants are modifying hours of operation, offering delivery options and moving strictly to takeout menus.

The changes in food and dining behavior come amid restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In South Maui, Lineage Maui at The Shops at Wailea has closed its dining room and will only be offering takeout to face the new realities caused by COVID-19. The restaurant will be offering takeout from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily and will have a separate takeout menu.

In West Maui, Moku Roots at Lahaina Gateway will be offering pre-prepped meals in addition to their regular menu and curbside delivery. The restaurant is open for orders from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and asks customers to call (808) 214-5106 when they are in the parking lot for orders to be delivered.

Several Maui restaurants have temporarily closed amid the pandemic in order to further minimize the spread of the coronavirus.
