The firearms registration process has changed in response to the coronavirus pandemic, a Maui Police Department Facebook post announced on Monday.

All firearms transactions will be completed by appointment only. Only 25 appointments will be scheduled per day. Appointments will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To make an appointment, call 808-244-6355.

“We may be helping others, you may have to leave a message remember to include you name and phone number,” the post read.
