Hawai‘i Passenger Arrivals Climbs to 1,268 on Saturday

The number of out-of-state travelers to Hawaiʻi continues to climb with more than 1,200 people arriving in Hawaiʻi on Saturday. That included 369 visitors and 373 returning residents.  There were no trans-Pacific flights to Maui on Saturday.

A day earlier, on Friday, Maui had 70 people arrive from out-of-state on a single domestic flight that included 35 visitors and 30 returning residents. On Friday, a total of 1,003 people arrived in Hawaiʻi, including 345 visitors and 270 returning residents.

The state’s mandatory 14-day self-quarantine remains in effect for all arriving travelers.

During this same time last year, nearly 30,000 passengers arrived in Hawaiʻi daily, including residents and visitors.
