Wintry Weather at Haleakalā Results in Park Closure, Sunrise Reservations Canceled

The Summit District of Haleakalā National Park is temporarily closed due to winter weather conditions effective Feb. 3, 2021 at 4 p.m.
The closure begins at the Summit Entrance Station on Haleakalā Highway extending up to the summit.
All sunrise reservations scheduled on Feb. 4, 2021 have been cancelled.
The Summit District of Haleakalā National Park will reopen once conditions improve.
The Kīpahulu District of Haleakalā National Park remains open.
