Waterproofing Project to Begin at Lahaina Civic Center Gym, March 1

The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation will begin construction on a waterproofing project for the Lahaina Civic Center gym on Monday, March 1. Work for the waterproofing project is expected to be ongoing through Sunday, May 30, 2021.
Contractor International Roofing & Building Construction Inc. will apply liquid waterproofing to the Lahaina Civic Center gym roof. The public is asked to stay away from work areas for safety reasons.
The Lahaina Civic Center Social Hall and Gymnasium remain closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and Public Health Emergency Rules that limit gatherings.
